The Rules

Updates: Forbidden Games will post updates to the project as developments occur. This means that there may be periods where there are no updates as we work to finish the game, develop final assets and work with the factory for production. When we have something exciting to share, rest assured we will. You can assume that we are hard at work making this project awesome!

We are limiting shipping to the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Europe (minus Russia and Ukraine). This is due to the fact that we have warehouses in these countries which allows us to minimize customs paperwork for those in these regions/nations. We subsidize some shipping and handling costs from our profits to help lower these costs for you.  Shipping is estimated and may vary based on the distance from the shipping hub.    If you live outside of these areas, we recommend using a USA address and have the game forwarded to you via a relative/friend or postage forwarding company.  

Customer Service: Damage may occur during transit by the various shipping carriers used. We wish this was not the case, but it can happen. Please email our customer service for any damaged items, major issues with delivery/loss/damage that cannot be resolved with the carrier (i.e., always try your local post office or UPS first) or for missing parts after you have your reward. We will need your backer number, address and backer name in the email.

If you feel you have a missing or damaged item, please email us with photos of damage, your backer number, backer name, and complete address and we will work to replace the missing or damaged items ASAP.  If you post in the comments or other forums we will respond as quickly as we can!

Final Product Quality: By pledging to this project, you acknowledge that the final look and components of the project, and hence the rewards, are subject to change and may differ from what the active Kickstarter campaign presented. If you do not accept these terms, please do not pledge but instead wait for the possibility of a general release copy. We always do our best to provide exactly what was presented, but we reserve the right to make changes necessary to create the best possible product for our backers. The above campaign depicts our plan, but plans can change during final development. That said, pledge with confidence; Forbidden Games produces some of the highest quality products in the marketplace, and any changes will be in pursuit of creating the best finished product.

Returns/Refunds/Cancellations: Up until the end of the Kickstarter campaign: While a project is still live in Kickstarter you can cancel your pledge by visiting the project page and clicking the "Manage your pledge” button on the right-hand side. From there, click "Cancel Pledge" next to the "Change your pledge" link. Remember, a pledge can only be canceled for a full refund while a project is live in Kickstarter.

If you decide to cancel your pledge after the Kickstarter campaign ends, but before your pledge rewards ship:

• For funds paid through Kickstarter, we will send you a check within 30 days of your request for your full pledge amount minus Kickstarter, PledgeManager, and Stripe fees (approximately 15%), since these fees are not refunded to us.

• For funds paid through PledgeManager, before your pledge rewards ship, we will refund the full pledge amount to your credit card, minus Kickstarter, PledgeManager, and Stripe fees (approximately 15%).

After we have shipped your pledge rewards:

• We cannot offer refunds or returns for any pledge rewards once your pledge has been downloaded for shipping.
